Questions About Our Easter Service
How will we know where to go when we arrive?
From Main Street to your seat our goal is to make your time with us comfortable and enjoyable. Our parking team and welcome team will be available to help you find your way and answer any questions you might have when you arrive. The entrance to the Zwerling Auditorium at Schuylkill Haven High School is in the rear of the building towards the football field. We will have our team as well as some signs showing you the way.
What should we do once we arrive?
Once you arrive and walk through the doors you will be greeted by one of our friendly welcoming team. Don’t worry they are here to serve you, and are not here to create awkward moments. If you have never visited our church before be sure to stop by one of the welcome tables to grab a welcome bag. This will have a communication card in it that you can fill out to get information from us via email from time to time. You can exchange your communication card for a Grace Free mug once you have it filled out.
If you have kids please stop by our kid’s table and grab each of your children an Easter gift. These gifts will hopefully brighten your child’s morning and provide them with a little entertainment during the service.
Once you picked up your stuff you can make your way into the Zwerling Auditorium and find a seat.
What’s the service like?
The service will last one hour and it is casual. We start off with a video and a few songs, and then we’ll listen to a message that is inspiring and relevant for your life. After the message, we close with a few more songs.
What about the music?
Our music is modern worship music featuring a full worship band each week. We strive to create a worshipful environment that is enjoyable for everyone, even if you have never been to church.
If you’ve got Spotify, check out our “Sang on Sunday” playlist to hear the music we play.
Will I fit in?
Yes! Our church is full of people from all walks of life and all ages. If you are worried about being new here, please don’t. We are a rapidly growing church, and most of our people are “new here.” When you attend you are going to find a bunch of people just like you. You won’t be judged. You will be loved here.
Will I be singled out?
We hate awkward church moments. No, you will not be singled out or made to feel uncomfortable. We want you to be able to enjoy your time with us and experience a meaningful service. No weird introductions. No “raise your hand if you’re new here” junk. No forced awkward social interactions. Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, you will feel comfortable here.
What should I wear?
Clothes. Seriously, we don’t care what you wear as long as you are wearing something. Dress however you feel comfortable. Our lead pastor often wears jeans, t-shirts and sneakers (usually loud sneakers) to speak.
What about my kids?
Sunday mornings we typically have an amazing kid’s program that is safe, biblically based, developmentally appropriate, and lots of fun. On Easter your kids will join you in the service. We will provide every kid with a special easter gift. This will hopefully make your kid’s morning special and help keep them entertained through the service. If you want to know what our typical Sunday Morning children’s programming looks like check out our children’s page for more information. All of our services are kid friendly.
Will I like it here?
