Disaster Relief and Recovery
Partnering with Faith Hope Love Disaster Recovery
Disaster Relief And Recovery
We partner with Faith Hope Love Disaster Recovery to help serve and show love to areas in our nation that are devastated by natural disasters.
When disaster hits we have experienced leaders who know how to provide needed relief to local communities through local churches. Not every one can or should put boots on the ground but we can all provide support. Collecting supplies ahead of disaster helps us be prepared to provide support when it is most needed. Check out our GO BUCKETS.
Go Buckets - Supply List
Buckets provided by Dunkin' Donuts Pottsville
Paper Towels, Pine Sol, Laundry Detergent, Fabric Softener, Scrub Brush, Poly Rope, Clothes Pins, Rubber Gloves, Small Flashlights, Protective Masks, Disinfectant Wipes, Reusable Wipes, Mold Remover, Dish Soap, Clorox Bleach, Toilet Paper, Work Gloves, Disinfectant Spray, Hand Sanitizer, Scrubbies, Small Gift Bags, Large Heavy Duty Trash Bags, Utility Rope, All Purpose Cleaning Spray, Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Travel Size Tooth Paste, Tooth Brush, Deodorant, Shaving Cream, Comb, Shaving Razor, Shampoo, First Aid Kits
When a natural disaster hits we will send a team with needed supplies to EFCA churches in the affected areas. Coordinating our efforts through Faith Hope Love Disaster Recovery and local EFCA churches will allow us to provide support to the local communities who need it most while also showing the love of Jesus to those who are suffering.
Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus demonstrating his heart for the displaced, broken hearted and suffering all while supporting the local churches in the affected areas.

We love the community we belong to. Schuylkill County is our home and it is a great place to raise a family. The people who call this area home are equally amazing; they are loyal, strong and have big hearts. We consider it an honor to serve the people of Pottsville, Cressona, Schuylkill Haven, Friedensburg and Orwigsburg. This area also presents some pretty big needs and so we work hard to offer real help for people in need. To help meet those needs we provide a free community meal the first Sunday of every month. We also have a dynamic program called Gifts of Grace. Through Gifts of Grace we pool our financial gifts, skills and resources to provide for individual needs on a case to case basis. Gifts of grace is a powerful program and the stories coming out of this ministry are always amazing. We have a program called Treats For Teachers in which we serve the teachers in the local Blue Mountain and Schuylkill Haven School Districts. The list of schools we reach with this service expands each year. We also support the Schuylkill Haven Food Bank. For more information contact our church office by emailing us at email@example.com.
